ADH was founded in 2003 in Vaikom, a small town along the banks of Vembanad Lake in central Kerala. The founder — Dr. Suresh Nair — had spent a decade working in larger hospitals across the state and kept returning to the same frustration: patients didn't have continuity. Every visit felt like starting from scratch.
He opened ADH with a single room, two chairs, and a conviction that family medicine should work like it did for previous generations — a doctor who knows your children's vaccination history, who calls when your mother's blood pressure needs rechecking, who is genuinely part of the neighbourhood fabric.
Twenty years later, that single room has grown into a network spanning Kerala — but the founding conviction hasn't changed.
